Hi, I don't know if I always had this problem or not, but I recently
noticed it working on this new song.
I am using Sonar 8.5 and Trilian Bass as a VSTi.
Every time I bounce down my midi to audio, the levels are ALWAYS
    different...
Not drastically, but it's almost like Trilian is playing it a bit
softer or harder on certain notes on EVERY bounce down. Even when I replay the Midi notes to listen back..they sometimes vary between .5-1db on the same note on each playback...
I tried it with Absynth 5 and I get the same result. Every time I
bounce down my Midi to audio the volume is different.
    Any ideas or help?

have you bounced down the same track twice and compared them?
or does it just sound louder?
do you know what panning law the daw is using?

    hello, superhero,

have never used it yet, so guessing only here, can it not be that the instrument uses its couple of randomly selected, different, samples, for every note, in the so called round robin mode, so these small differences then may come up because of this? :dunno:
as for absynth, have never experienced this thing... *no*
also, if it sounds good, why the trouble? :dunno:
you can use these minimally different bounces for all the different segments in your song, perhaps giving it small variations... *yes*

    all the best...
