The Midi Logical Editor script package for PreSonus Studio One allows filtered editing of musical notes and velocities directly on arrange clips wthout splitting or in the midi key editor.

    Filter
There are four filter sections. Select the one you want to be active by clicking on it and you'll see it become active like the first section in the image here. Use any of the four filters to perform whatever edit you intend to do. Tick the Select Filter box to mirror the filter with note selection.

    Action
The action section at the bottom determines what will happen to the notes within the current filter range, pitch, velocity, randomized velocity, and compress velocity. The last two have radio buttons to make them active. Hit Apply to apply the edit.

    Key Editor
If you select notes in the midi key editor and run the Logical Editor, you'll see changes to pitch and velocity in real time on the notes and velocity bars when you hit "Apply".

    Arrange Clips
If you select a clip or clips on the timeline and run the editor, any changes you make will happen to the filtered notes in the clip in real time when you hit "Apply". If the midi key editor is also open at the same time you won't see the changes happen there until you close the editor window.
