Midi for Synthesia

    Hi, Does anyone know how I can get the midi for songs like this.

    I tried converting MP3 to midi and into Synthesia but its way off. There's so many notes being played at the same time and nothing like the video. If someone can help me and point me in the right direction. Thank you.

    Hi, there are different ways to do this.
    - Convert audio to MIDI. There are probably better programs to do it, like Melodyne. You will have to clean up the result (by ear) anyway and then export to MIDI.
    - I can see there is a score of this cover. You can get the score (probably pay for it) and then just play it. (the cleanest way)
    - You can scan the score and convert it to MIDI with something like ScanScore. (should be clean)
    - If you play piano/keys you can play by ear (zplane deCoda or other slow-downer might help)

    Also some sort of combination of the above. It really depends on what instrument you play, your skill/knowledge etc.. There aren't really that many notes here, but also there are no real shortcuts that I know of. Maybe other can chime in..

    Happy to help. :) it's just a general direction though.. I see programs in general struggle with piano, esp when there is a lot of sustain pedal. Probably harmonics overload. So just MIDI from piano sheet or re-playing are best options IMO.
