    Hey y'all
This might be funny or over expecting. But are there any Midi editors/piano roll with the functionality, like note shading for chord/Scale and a snaping feature, just like in RapidComposer.

I know Cubase has chord track and scale thingy and so does studio One i guess (not sure haven't used it). Apart from that are there any DAW with that feature or any third party plugins which can be used as a midi editor.
I use Reaper, are there any alternatives that could add this functionality to the workflow.

This is possible in Reaper (for instance with the key snap at the bottom of the MIDI editor or transpose feature).

Im aware of that too dude, but are there any scripts in reaper that shades the notes for chords, there is the chord track script or extension for reaper i used it a long while ago. but honestly i feel it kinda lame not for the developer/user who made it, no, it is a well made tool from what we currently have with reaper. But what i mean is it splits the item into individual clips assigning it to different scale in this case a chord. If u have taken a look into RC u ll understand.

I know what you talking about that is not in Reaper yet you talking about how you can link the chords and scales in the piano roll together and have it communicate with detection and shading and voicing with one another naw thats not in reaper yet ....Studio one does do it in a way but Cubase do it way better when it comes to the midi detection communication between scales and chords

yes exactly, thanks. I too use RC in Reaper just for that functionality i dont use any other RC stuff like generators, but mostly for transposing the notes to different scale degrees experimenting until i get the result.
Its a shame that no other plugins offer this functionality

:like: u should try it, its a bit complicated, but worth trying
I use that too, its not 100% perfect it cannot show some come chords just displays none. And the region marker thing messes up the workflow of already made regions, in the project. I think Reaper has to take a step forward and make necessary things to compete with others.
