Approx. one week ago, you could read in the news that Microsoft is planning to fire 18,000 (=eighteenthousand) of their employees.

Just a few days later, one could read in the news that Microsoft made a profit (!) of 22 billion dollars (= 22,000,000,000 $) in 2013.

How fucked up has the world we live in become???
This is more than just outta control.

Sorry for the rant, but I find it hard to digest such news.

 

profits for the share holders, they obviously are not getting enough dividends, and I think most of the redundancies are from within the former nokia group

Profit comes WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY before souls in "their" world.

Mainly because WE let THEM!

 

Do you now what really Sucks about these companies Like Microsoft Apple Intel to Me is that they are all Making Ridiculous amounts of Money an i have never Seen Them have any type Contests Computer giveaways they can afford to giveaway a 1000 maxed out Computers a year i have herd of them giving away to schools but thats all

 

They also have agreements about hiring staff to suppress wages!

 

You can go to see Frank if you have a drug problem.
you can go to see Alcoholics Anonymous if you have a drink problem.
but who did you see when money is your addiction???

 

for this i really hope to see Windows 9 cracked at day one ...by one of their employers maybe

Since the 80's, dividends exploded. Salaries and investments, of course, are falling...and falling...and falling...
All those ppl earning a lot of money on stocks exchange are working hard...around the pool, drinking and waiting for their golf partner

Today, you need to SELL anything, but sell.
That's why almost all i see in jobs papers are seller jobs
Of course, those jobs are pure crap, like what they are supposed to sell.

Soon, we will see them selling our own air (it is already like this with water). And this day, we will fear not "working hard enough" to pay our air bill, like a lot of us already do with their house, car , electricity, food...

Start to fear breathing, mates. Because it is the future
