metallica fade to black chords

    but anyway to my ears

    intro is
    Bm , A mainly

    and then verse
    Am, C, G , Em


    i wanted an explanation how does that work going from intro
    Bm, A

    to

    Am, C, G, Em

    because i don't see this often..

    and correct me if i'm wrong

    Yeah, it's not "full" chords per se but plucked strings.

    They are modulating. Google "chord modulation" if you want to know more.
