Metallic Dubstep Bass

    Can anyone please help me figuring out how to make the sound that hits on the second snare of the second drop?

    The same for this one

    I think they are basically the same kind of stuff with just some slightly different wavetables and filter ranges.
    To me is sufficient just the proper name of this sound or any other more popular producer who used this so I can search for tutorials by myself..

    Wavetable synth (complex waveform) -> highpass filter -> saturation/distortion -> chorus/dimension expander. Add SC compression (kick/ghostkick) and pitchbends/tapestops. Modulate/automate rate on a tempo-sync'ed LFO (triangle, sine, whatever) routed to amplitude/volume. EQ boost more around 6kHz if needed.
