Mercuriall Audio has announced a new plugin called Tube Amp Ultra 530. It is expected to be released in the Autumn of 2015 for Mac OS X and Windows in AU and VST plugin formats.

Features / details:

*Complete modeling of real circuit design.
*To solve the equations in real-time using a Neural Network.
*Use accurate mathematical models of tubes (including Vintage Tube).
*The power amplifier operates with the load cabinet.
*Smooth positioning of the microphone cabinet in two axes.



The plugin will be available in two versions - limited free version, Mercuriall Tube Amp 530 free, and a commercial version Mercuriall Tube Amp Ultra 530.

Love the way they added the poweramp section but decided to use black knobs instead of silver like the engl 530 special edition

Clearly modelled on the ENGL 530 Preamp fine details Engl 530 has a built in stereo 1.5 watts power amp that u not switch off with a red button but rather plug into headphone jack so they messed up on that tiny bit! Apart from that resembles the 530 remarkably *yes*

That don't really make it a TUBE AMP ULTRA! 1.5 watt poweramp plus its solid state so a bit misleading!

Could have picked a better name imo

Thats just the Cabs tho? Whys it called the 530 & looks exactly like an engl E530 preamp and have exactly the same controls? was that the preamp u used or did u use a range?

 

Preamp based on E530 preamp, power amp - classic 6v6 tube power amp and 7 different cabs with smooth mic positioning.

Comparison of Engl E530 and Mercuriall U530.

 

Final a small intrigue with a blind comparison of sound. We not only wanted to demonstrate the sound of U530, much to compare it with the original sound E530. NO EQ OR POST PROCESSING, only cab IR.
P.s. Switching between an E530 and an U530 is intentionally not in sync with rhythm and meter!. ;)

Hi,

We made a small update to our preamps comparison.

The first version was used at the output Stereo Cabinet IR. Some musicians thought it was wrong, and asked to IR "more tightly". Version 2 uses a mono IR on each guitar. Time switching preamps not changed.

As a bonus, a new mix with the Mercurial U530
