Melda plugins have a steeper learning curve than others but they are really great plug-ins and offer a great degree of customization. People are really raving about this one, looks like Melda has a winner on their hands and it came out of nowhere.

Installed it on my Mac, tested it, didn't like it. Clunky Interface, counter-intuitive GUI. Dozens of subsection and Menus. Urghh. Like all Meda GUIs this one basically disgusts me, too. Okay, that's just personal preferences and you could say I am superficial… but I stick to Serum and Spire instead – fuck that "Analog" shit. It's worth nothing when you sit in front of a GUI that makes me want to puke. ;)

But here is something I noticed while uninstalling and what I wanted to let you know: the installer apperently creates a "Melda" Folder in your HD >> Library as well as in you Home >> Library and puts support Files for ALL of their other products into it, even if you don't have them installed. And after using the uninstaller this junk remains on your system. So make sure you check these locations once the hype has bubbled down and you throw this shit in the garbage can. ;)

 

8.07 provides several new features, performance and workflow improvements, fixes and more. It is highly recommended to install this update. It is necessary to use the newest installer from our download page.

MPowerSynth 8.07 changes

Added micro-tuning via TUN files (available from Advanced settings).
Added Show favourite, Load next and Load previous features to preset window.
Preset window is not closed when clicked outside of it anymore.
Preset window remembers state of the settings now (show preset info...).
Improved Ozone style.
Fix: Improved compatibility with some ancient Windows XP versions, which do not contain some basic system
folders.
