There's no secret that one of the best ways to make money in music is by throwing showcases. Are there any books or any promoters that can shed some knowledge on promoting and throwing long term showcases? How do you build a relationship with artists and assure them to play your show? How do you expand your showcase from a monthly event to something weekly? Any tips would be appreciated.
