Tired of destroying your ears by accidentally creating feedback loops in the Daw or turning your computer volume up on a quiet synth just to get wrecked by another track? Me too. Has anyone found an application that automatically limits the dB going to your headphones (i'm on mac)?

I've looked into Soundflower, Purrfect Volume, etc. but these guys do it based on the mac volume slider, not the total dB being outputted (you can cap your computer to 50% volume but still change the youtube volume past a safe amount, for example). Would love some advice!
