first of all great site so thanks for that
i've downloaded ableton live 9 suite couple of months ago and i love it, but with the download max for live was not included
could you guys help me out getting max for live?
Or could i download max for live essentials & cycling 74 and get max for live working that way?

install this in 32 /64 bits depending of your version of live
and then you can play with any M4L device you want, without owning a purchased registration.

 

isnt that only a 30 day trial ? i want to use it a lil longer since im not able to go Legit yet.
im a bit confused now what to do.. download max for live essentials via audiozone and use the cycling74 thing to get it working ?

i use the x64 runtime, then it lets me use any M4L device i donwloaded under live 9.
M4L essentials is a kind of "best of" all M4L devices created so far, so you just need at least the runtime to read it.

i can't use the standalone app (create, edit etc) but files that were made with it can be opened under live 9, which is sufficient for me.
there's no limitation if you just use the runtime, i think it's like when it asks you "do you want to install visual++ 2010 ...." when you're installing a game.
