So I made a track (EDM), did all the regulars to prepare for mastering. Loaded the track in Izotope. Loaded a Pro track as a reference by a reputable DJ, track was a major hit.
Hit that master assistant.
When Izotope was done on the master assistant stage, no changes were made to my track, none. Only the Threshold went to -20dB for the target loudness part which was very loud, had to adjust it to a reasonable volume.
Does this mean I managed to produce a track in par with a pro producer.?

Even the equalizer stayed stagnant, no changes on anything. The track does sound pretty descent but I need the insight from others who know about mastering

But seriously, did aforementioned DJ actually master the track themselves I wonder?

If u are asking this question to a musician and engineer of over 30 years with it being my main income (profession), u don't need to know the answer.
Why do u rate Master Assistant in iZtotope?
I think it's crap.
