i know they use pumping compressors & warm saturation/eqs/filters, but some sound like they have reverb on the master!
    Any tips?

The reverberation comes from the track itself probably made during the composition or mixing and the mastering brings out these artifacts more or less strongly depending on whether the work Mid / side and correctly done.

If you have some examples of tracks it would be more convincing, but I think that fundamentally a reverb has no place in a mastering chain

I think you are overthinking mastering. Pumping (sidechain compression), EQs, filters, reverbs are all in the composition, production and mix.

There have been times when I add a reverb in the mastering, but the occasions are very rare and usually involves tracks that are super-dry to begin with.

Sorry i never ment to say compressors/eqs/filters on the master channel. Just like a reverb sound which brings out the mix

What makes you think the reverbis applied on the master? Does everything have the same (equal amount) room/reverb?

I remember ozone 5 having a mastering reverb but they removed it in later versions.

    "Air" is high-end exciter/compressor. It's not reverberance.
Because reverb is rarely used during the mastering stage, and the reverb module took up quite a chunk of the weight of the plugin.
