I use eq > Phase Linear (Waves)
Compressor > OTT
Compressor > FabFilterMB
Limiter > FabFilterL
Limiter > L2 (Waves)

Sometimes I drop Voxengo Soniformer into the chain, depending on material. That's about it

 

I use the same chain , no matter what the genre is:

UAD Cambridge Eq - low cut, subtractive eq
Brainworx BX Control - mono maker and width, but not on my tracks, where BX Control is already on all Buss
UAD Precision Multiband Compressor - No compression on highs, last band compressor isn t engaged, no gain reduction
UAD Precision Buss Compressor - it has a side filter, I use it around 300 Hz - no compression below 300 Hz
UAD Cambridge Eq - tone eq, high shelving, hi cut
UAD Precision Limiter
3 analysis plugs for spectrum, stereo, loudness metering

I use 2 equalizers not to compress mid highs too much, they sound better so, and to avoid a frequencies dependant compression
