Put the registration files with the ending *. R2RUVI into the C:\ProgramData\UVI\R2R

Sorry if this has already been asked, but once the libraries are unprotected, can I load them in a licensed version of Falcon on Mac Os (natively, i.e in Logic or Cubase)?

Thanks very much for this guide as I still can't get it to find or load a library. very frustrating as you can imagine as all the luscious libraries are appearing and I can't even try them
I have followed rhe original R2R instructions to the letter and for some strange reason it doesn't work for me?
I'm certainly not new to installing this kind of software/keygens etc so hopefully will be able to get it sorted by following your guide
Many thanks or your time to write this to help out your struggling musician friends

Thank you for the work you have put into this endeavor. I, personally have had no issues yet with Falcon.

For those who have struggles this should aid them in finding a speedy resolution.

I was successful with the factory content, but I tried to configure the world suite 2 to show from an external, and it does now show. I put the file in the r2r folder and then configured a path to the library on the external, and it does not show. Do I need to do the regedit thing again?

You could try the troubleshooting steps in the FAQ section of the guide. I have also posted an alternative on page 1 which could help

The R2R folder (see photo) is only responsible for the registration files. If you put your Sound Expansion somewhere else, you only have to enter the new path in -> Falcon Preferences -> SoundBanks (see photo).

I got it to see it by putting it in the default folder. It didn't see it when I used the wrench to set the path. I prefer to use the external drive because I run out of room on the c drive. It sees it, so that is good. I will work on the wrench config thing. Thanks.

From that notion I take it you haven't tried the workaround method (click me) in the comments on Page 1. You should really give it a go. It may allow you to store your soundbanks on an external drive. I also linked to it within the guide in the FAQ.

I've edited the comment for more clarity on how it works.

Ok. Sometimes I have to read things a few times and keep trying before I get them working. I am close on this. I like what I am hearing. Even if this is not "special" that just means there is a lot of good stuff out there. Thanks!

Hi, I installed everything in the way of your guides.
Also libraries are placed under the the documentes UVISoundbanks folder.
I placed also the R2RUVI files under the C:\ProgramData\UVI\R2R folder.
Then I open Falcon standalone there are no licence errors.
Then I open the Soundbank browser, i see my so far installed soundbanks.
But, if try to open a soundbank I see only a first colume of sets like Animated, Appregriated. If I press/select them nothing happens.
I reinstalled Setup Falcon v2.5.3.exe and Setup UVIEMU v1.0.8.exe several times without problem solving.
In the folder C:\Program Files\TEAM R2R\UVIEMU I find no exe file. Do I need there a exe file?

To answer your questions in order:

    1. To verify you installed everything correctly you can try moving the R2RUVI files outside of the R2R folder, to see if you get a license error, if you get an error Falcon loaded the libraries, at which point you should have installed things correctly. If you don't get a license error, the libraries aren't loaded, reference the FAQ for potential solutions. If that doesn't help, let me know.

    2. An alternative and more detailed way to open a soundbank is to:
    1. Open Falcon and then double click "empty" on the left side of the screen, underneath "Default Multi"
    2. This shouldl replace the panel view with a new view, here you can see the following entries in order from top to bottom: "Search" "Devices" "Places" and "Soundbanks".
    3. Click on the arrow to the left of "Soundbanks" or double click it to open it up.
    4. Then you should be able to use it as a tree browser to navigate around to presets
    5. To load a preset, which are the entries without any arrow to the right of them, double click it.
    6. This is one of two ways to load a library that I know of. However if this works for you, it's a viable alternative I guess.
    3. You don't need an EXE file, so long as that folder exists and contains a manual everything should be installed correctly.

    Hopefully that helps.
