I follow your logic but over the years NI has only decreased the number of encoders. The MK1 has had the most to date with 11.

 

Well spotted, but a Studio replacement will need to have more knobs, otherwise I won't be paying the new inflated price!

 

Unless the Studio MK2 has faders or touch strips it's the Pocket JAM for me.

 

I hope that thing don't make my Maschine Mk2 obsolete!
