Register your hardware at native instruments set up a user account with them so the hardware shows up in your user account. Personally I never had Maschine controller disconnected when I set mine up when Maschine runs the first scan it will also scan hardware . I'm on mac too try reinstalling again but this time leave the controller connected . Did you install you controller drivers aswell . There's a few things you need to install and update . The serial on the bottom of the controller is what you need to register at ntive instruments user account
