    Dear Audiosexists,

I haven't been able to use any Maschine update since 2.4, as all newer versions keep crashing when I click the little + to open the plugin list.

I've got a legit copy, but use the cracked software because of expansions. I haven't tried the legit copy yet, but I can't really imagine this would solve the problem. My last resort would be to contact NI support with the generated crash dump, which probably wouldn't be the best scenario possible with tons of cracked VSTs installed (including NI ones).

The official NI forums didn't help and I already tried rebuilding Maschine's plugin library from scratch by deleting it's database. I think I remember this was a common problem with an update, but was fixed sometime later - well, not for me :(

Has anyone got any experiences with that problem or any ideas how to solve it? Removing my VSTs one by one and starting Maschine isn't really an option as it would be work for days.

    Thanks in advance!

Hopefully you got this sorted already bud. If not, this is how I fixed the problem when I was on 2.4 without having to go through and disable each individual plugin one at a time. In case it helps someone.
First off, if you have jBridged plugins, it's most likely one of those.
I have my plugins categorized in folders by developers as most people likely do.
The fastest way to test is to remove all your plugin directories from your actual VST location path (by default C:\Program Files\VstPlugins) then just add folders back in one by one, scanning the VST plugin location in Maschine after relocating each folder and trying to load a plugin after each scan to see if the crash happens. If it doesn't, move on to the next folder as the offending plugin isn't contained in one of those.

If you have jBridged plugins, I would start with that folder as that was where my problem lied. One plugin out of thousands causing all this hell.

Unfortunately I did not get it sorted out yet, so thanks for your response! I don't think I have any jBridge plugins installed, but I will try to disable any shell-plugins first.

Write back and let us know which plugin(s) were causing the hangup, yeah?
Heads up to anyone else in a similar predicament, for me it was MiniMogue LUXUS (jBridged).
There are four different versions of this plugin:

    Minimogue VA
    Minimogue VA Luxus
Minimogue VA TL (with new 0d filter)
Minimogue VA Luxus TL with new 0d filter

and they all seem to crash Maschine when attempting to load a plugin.

    Thank the Lord for Monark.

EDIT - I forgot about Full Bucket Music plugins. Their 64-bit plugins don't work in Maschine either. Pretty cool plugs though.

I found the bad boys that led to my problem: Memorymoon synths! Now that they're gone, everything's working again.
