I have both Maschine and Spark. You can do a lot more with Maschine maybe made your track entirely in Maschine and not buy a DAW. If you own Komplete that's a serious package because of the VST integration of Maschine. Spark is an hybrid sampler/drummachine design like a drummachine... Maschine is design like an MPC...

I can go without SPARK but i can't told the same with Maschine. (for a lot of reason !!!) and that's why i will buy Maschine studio because i find a great workflow with Maschine and what i wait is a great mixer without needed my computer screen to work... and that's exactly one of the improvement !

Ye', but before "play real gigs" you should consider the music making tools more important than the car. First make sure you made the music then complain about the car importance. When you make great music and you're about to succeed, before you make tons of money i'm sure there's a friend to help you out with his car till you get your own one. Music gives you money to buy the car, so prioritize the music making tools more.
