    Wow.
Looks great! Entire studio in one controller, with the great interface of Maschine 2.0 (I see sidechain in the video....)
The one annoying thing is that the 2.0 will come from now on with every purchase of Maschine hardware (no matter what), but whoever that bought MASCHINE before will need to pay 99$ for the 2.0. This is kinda annoying because Maschine 1.8 isn't perfect, and it seems like they improved a lot and fixed a lot, but instead of giving it away to those who "suffer" from the bugs and issues in previous versions, they call it "2.0" and charge for it... that also means that they will stop working on the 1.8+ versions and try to fix things inside the software that are NI fault...
    And now, the details

Nice, but way too expensive for me...1000 Euros, I'd rather buy a car for that amount of money. :(

When you're into music with your soul, a car is less important than your music creation tools. (just my opinion)

    It's 900$ not euros.
And let's assume that everyone get what's best for them.
Before we get into 'I have this I have that, that's better, etc...remember that different things suits different people.

And mpc and maschine couldn't be compared as maschine is software based from it's first day.

Anyway, shut up and make some music :)
I would buy it if I hadn't bought mk2 few months ago.
Interface looks cool, intuitive. Software seems more friendly.

This looks so sick. I just bought a white MK2 but I will be buying the update soon after release. I'm excited.

    Here in €-land it's 999€. That's about 1350$.
I always ask myself, why is everything cheaper in the US? :dunno:

I guess they want to stay with a "cool fixed" price like "999", so in the US is $, Europe is euro...
And just a reminder - NI is a German company! :dunno:

I think that it's suppose to be the same price everywhere. And to give the 2.0 update for a small price for every previous customer (like 19.99$ or something) to be fair.
    It's not Cubase 4 -> 7 upgrade..... *no*

Aargh! I want a Spark so bad! I think I'm going to just say screw it and pop down the cash for a Spark LE. I also have an Arturia Keylab49 that I love very much. The spark is exactly what I need for realtime groove production and they look slick as all get out!

I have both, Spark & SparkLE.
For realtime manipulation etc.. i recommend Spark, you reach the parameters etc much faster with it. SparkLE is also nice i use it when i go to my friends studio etc..

    cheers

amazing piece of hardware. this is definitely a step in the right direction for maschine. NI has done it right with the hardware/software combo. this is something that akai hasn't been able to pull off.

does anybody know if the pads are the same size as with the mk2?

anyways now would be a good time to get an mk2 or mikro. ebay here i come.

Looks like NI finally succeeded in somewhat killing the MPC and taking its market. I'm afraid it's still not for me..................I'm Ableton until I die.............................. and then I'm Bitwig when it comes out. :break:

Right, but a car is a much more basic thing, while that maschine could be outdated in a couple of years. And my most important tool is my DAW, not a controller I guess.

I'd rather buy me a Push for 500 Euros then.

Does Arturia has some kind of protection on the Spark? I'd love to buy it, but not with any kind of elicencer shit. :(
