My 2 cents: If you are going for guttural growls, pig squeels, inhale screams you need to learn to do it from the diaphragm with proper breathing technique or you will hurt your throat and vocal chords. Basically you don't want to force the air flow. It takes time and patience and takes weeks to month and then you can take it further. A vocal coach can show you how to do it properly. There are plenty of YT tutorials, but no guarantees there.
    Check out this guy:

You have 2 aspects of the sound you want. Its pitch, and any effects to make it sound how you want it. I would consider doing them separately. Effects like this can often damage your audio quality within the sample. Pitch/timestretching more so than the effects part of your sound.

I would use Zynaptiq Elastique Pitch 2 first. (or something like it) It will let you change the pitch and the timbre. If you unlink the two parameters you can do them separately. After that you will have free reign to use whatever plugins it takes to do the other half of the sound you want. Effects processing will only go so far. One of the AI tools that can do drastic voice changes, clones, etc may get you way better results than processing. If you can do Frank Sinatra, you may also be able to get Slayer.

By that screenshot, My larynx would be falsetto. Love it! Or really, sample Vincent Price. Just pay his estate. His voice was very horrifying. He never did voice overs for children's books, for a reason.

Apart from the vocal techniques, a fun production technique is to double with the vocal line with a vocoder fed by a synth playing it an octave lower and mix it in a bit. Also pitch shifting the voc down an octave and mixing it in some but not too much. The shittier the shifter the better.

You can use it with a sample as well, of course!

The pitch shifter trick works straight off, and for the vocoder one you just need to feed the sample to the vocoder, and figure out the notes for the carrier signal. You can use a tuner or perhaps Melodyne/Autotune to help with the notes if needed.

And Corpsegrinder is the current vocalist of Cannibal Corpse. It's impressive that the guy is able to do his stuff live. The music is not to everyone's taste, of course...
