This is cool, but it's a bit too bloated for me. 244mb download which installs to nearly a gig at 884mb.

I revoked it's internet access and loaded a folder of about 1k projects contained in various genre subfolders and the search function seemed the most useful, but I already have that covered with bpm and key in every project title and use Everything by voidtools to search, which is much faster and far more efficient on system resources, this is using quite a bit of ram when running. I like the tagging system, notes and the bpm detection is pretty solid.

Thanks for posting. I'm always interested in these management tools, but it seems my basic file management is more efficient than I realised. This will definitely solve some issues for a lot of people.

 

Given its size, I imagine it was developed using Electron.

I also find the size of applications developed in Node.js, and then distributed as executables, to be ridiculous.

Application development has really gone off the rails in recent years; some people don't even bother learning languages like C++ anymore and opt for this kind of easy way out out of sheer laziness.

And with AI, it's even worse: people incapable of writing a simple "Hello World" think they're programming geniuses.

Everything's going to hell... We're doomed... lol

lol ironically, after testing this app and realising my workflow is quite efficient. I went to see how difficult it would be use ai to code a much more lightweight version of this that fits more with how I have my project library set up.

Again, thanks for posting. I still think this will be useful for many people.

 

I've had this installed for a while but haven't actually used it
A while ago I was using DbDone (similar but different creator) when it was still free (although the creator of DbDone aggressively monetised his software so I stopped using it) & found it to be useful, especially for locating projects I had unfortunately lost (although the blame for that is on me, I should be more organised)

Assuming it's as good as the early DbDone versions I'll definitely get good use out of it once I start using it

i should use something like this i have literally thousands of projects it does get hard to keep track
