I used to use GoDaddy years ago but I got highly irritated with their pushy sales tactics and marketing emails despite opting out.

 

Notepad++ is another great it can also be used to edit ini files like vstplugins64.ini in Reaper in case a plugin doesnt show up in the pluginlist.
Just delete the entry for that specific plugin and when you start Reaper again it scan that plugin and hopefully it shows up in the plugin list.
It also show tabs like a browser so when i open Notepad++ one tab is for the hostfile one is for the vstplugins64.ini and a third for edting an ini file in Gimp.

 

It was NOT a mistake : there is a massive attack (like the band) from EU states on "scene" DNS (and hosts) .
I not only lost AZ website, but rutracker and other "scene" websites.
And only them.

With hard IP in hosts, they worked ...
It is not a "mistake" : they just play cat and mouse with governments, shutting down on pressure.
But when clients go upfront ...

 

Strange... AZ is the only one out of many I had issues with at all...

 

I know it is strange, but i had this strange behavior on two scene websites.
computer (ethernet+°box) and smartphone (4G) from two providers.

Now, i'm obliged to use CloudFlare DNS on both to get rutracker ... but not AZ (back again to normal ?).

 

Or, simply place this line into your hosts file >> 172.67.182.196 rutracker.org
and let cloudflare sit and spin. Hosts file will always trump external DNS in order of lookup - so unless you delete your hosts file you're always good unless the IP or host name changes. You should notice a speed difference getting to the site as well.

 

Idk how SAiNT found the time to go all the way to Germany and fight cyber ninjas, but it all worked out.

Thanks for the link That is bitcoin I do not have much faith in it. Also I just checked and the processing fee is ridiculous. I want that money to got to Saint not some middle man that does nothing. I know there will be a transaction fee which I will pay.
It's not be gracious I have been here for quite some time and I feel like it is well over due that I give a little to get a lot.

Is possible to rent/sale/buy services through some of the many e-commerce existent pages, @SAiNT could name it as he likes (eg; system's maintenance, & so on). Once we know which is the publication we go there and buy that "service". This could be done in a couple of minutes.
