I installed MAGIX SOUND FORGE Audio Studio 13, and it automatically provides the above driver.
I don'dislike it, maybe is a pretty good driver, but it seems to interfere with my audio card one.
The problem is that I'm not able to uninstall it, I can't find anywhere a place to do so inside win 10.
Any suggestion? Should uninstall soundforge at all?

 

Does it not show up in the list of installed software? Maybe try the list inside of CCleaner. Should be in there. And if not, just leave it on there, but change the driver in the settings of the Audio Interface.

Before uninstalling the whole package what I'd is to get a good startup manager, like the one from Glary Utilities, to see if you can disable it that way.
It's a long shot from what you tell but it can't hurt.

 

There is no need to uninstall anything.

If you really wanna get rid of it, do this :

Go into the registry here =>

HKLM>Software>ASIO - delete the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver entry
HKLM>Software>WOW6432Node>ASIO - delete the Magix Low Latency ASIO driver entry

Works for other ASIOs too.

DONE

I don't use S F but usually Magix ( Seq, Samp ) let's you select the driver in the audio settings. So it can be switched to another one. The LAST installed is the one used otherwise.

Weird they don't provide the uninstallation of the ASIO driver. That's not good, as it is always better to have less ASIO drivers installed, for you never know.

You could also find it with Sysinternals' Autoruns utility and just untick it/disable it from running at start up. There's no better start up utility than Autoruns and it's portable.

Guys, is magics asio driver not just a relabled asio4all? Is it any better?
would uninstalling magics asio driver and installing asio4all probably solve all problems without having less performsnce?

 

@Pereira Magix Low Latency Driver will add registry entries besides those mentioned. It loves to write onto the registry.To eliminate all of traces, download RegScanner. Run Scan by telling it to
Find String> Magix Low Latency 2016
Matching> Registry item contains the specified string
Look at Value,Data, Keys.
Checkmark Scan the following base keys and select all 5
After scan eliminate every entry.

If you dont feel safe doing it back up your registry first. I have been testing MLL 2016 for months along other drivers and that is how I have been uninstalling it without issues.

 

Must love Magix... They are kinda like MS - buy/make shit out of it. I feel so sorry for Samplitude. It was a great DAW. Now it installs all kinds of stuff you don't need. I wonder if there are people who remember Samplitude from when it was a top DAW. I used to like it.

Get Revo Unistaller on the Sister Site, reinstall Magix driver, THEN uninstall with REVO , do a complete search for remains and delete them, after that check your Regedit for remains. Hope it helps buddy (also check %appdata% , sometimes there are files remaining , that tell the computer the software is still activated)

 

why not revo or bcuninstaller(free)..ccleaner is piriform...piriform take data evrytime you launch it...it contact home....in past at least...+ its not as good as the two mentioned uninstallers..
one of these two uninstaller is a must to have as win user , imho

Pro X is killer. Then Pro X4. Ask some real world guys as Bob LUDWIG (as we used last week + Pyramix) - and his 11 Grammy - , Bob KATZ, George MASSENBURG my mentor, inventor of the paramatrtic EQ, the guys at the BBC, creator of standards since decennies etc.

Any OBJECT is Samp / Seq can be as powerfull as a session in PT. But of course : don't believe it . The most powerfull and precise DAWs available with the particular Pyramix.

All guys of WIN10, killer OS of 2019. But of course : don't believe it .

I use older versions of CCleaner without spyware. It works perfectly with XP and W7. But if I had W10 I would probably have to use the newer version. The version of CCleaner I use is 4.19. Speccy and Recuva are very handy programs, too, and portable.
