    I think you guys are giving Magix too much of the culpability. It was really Sony who ruined Sound Forge and Acid, long before it was acquired by Magix. Sony had 13 years of ownership to run those into the ground.

    Used Sound Forge (Win 32 bit) many years ago for batch processing of samples, but the 64 bit versions got buggy like hell and crashed too often, then switched to Reaper for batch processing using multiple cores, hundreds of times faster and rock solid, never missed Sound Forge since.

    Mann, Sound Forge, what memories.
    I used it to "remix" a bastard of a college teacher whom I recorded on a portable cassette recorder. The best thing back in the day. Without permission, of course, the only classes I ever sat on the first row :rofl:

    That was MSDOS 5/Windows 3.11 days...

    PS. despite not explicit, I kind of had "ethic" permission. That fucker made a test so hard only two out of 78 passed... oh boy, that remix made the rounds...
