I do it works fine no issues.
The only real issue with Linux is the DAW drivers. Hopefully you have one that is supported.

PC are slower because you can't run windows without an antivirus unless will be infected and you will have trash and infections in your hard disk.
Mac never need an antivirus. all the test performed are without an antivirus and are bullshit.

 

It boasts native Windows realtime processing, I'm using a lot these days via Crossover and it feels very PC-like in handling overall. It's very solid with the only caviot being you have the spend a bit more time searching for supplemental driver softwares for everything from scratch. Well worth it as an alt to going full bore windows.

using a mac is just a breeze and wonderful, its cheaper and faster, i love apple.

windows is just pure trash garbage and i f-ing hate when i'm forced to deal with it.
its just a hassle all the time, you can't disable updates and it trashes itself on a regular basis.
did i mention updates?

i would rather f myself with a detached limb before i ever buy a Microsoft product again.

 

That's what I got after creating a clone, even the source was damaged...

I have now banned windows completely from my Halckintosh and rather use the second SSD as Backup drive. That way I can do a very fast smart clone.(1TB ~20 min) Yes cloning works properly on macOS, and they are even bootable yeah!

oh shit win7 support ends i need to upgrade to win 10 so have full support and good updates again so i never have to hassle with my OS and just continuing making music like with our good old win 7
