I have a 2010 Macpro 3.33Mhz 32gb ram and I could upgrade it to a 12 core 3.33mhz with 64gb ram for 300€
Do you thing it worth it and there will be a lot of improvement on speed ....more plugins?
Using it for mixing mastering and audio production.

Hold onto those 300€ and spend them on a machine with an Apple M chip unless you're 115% opposed to spending the time migrating your stuff to a newer architecture / software stack.

 

no it won't be worth it
there will be no improvement on speed because you won't get any faster cpu or faster ram or faster storage,
having more cpu cores and more ram capacity might help you run more thing in parallel,
you can literally buy used Apple Silicon Mac Mini for 400-500€ and it will be much faster

 

No it's not worth it at all. I held onto mine until 2020 and it just had to go at that point. After Apple screwed us all over with no upgrade to Catalina after we ran out and bought $300 GPUs just to go to Mojave, that machine is a doorstop unless you really like 2010. Slow wifi, old bluetooth, ancient SATA drives, no USB 3, etc.. Save the money you'll waste trying to make it current and put it towards a new ARM Mac.

Even a used 1st Gen M1 Mini or MacBook will eat that thing alive. Hell, my iPad Pro is more powerful than the cheese grater now.
