How do you guys find the Machine Id that goes into the R2R keygen?

Hmm haven't used a keygen in ages so cant remember. Pretty sure the software you are trying to generate a key for gives it to you via offline authorization and you put that into keygen?

Yep the software your installing usually supplies it in there ! so copy and paste it ! sometimes you only see it once otherwise you have to re-install again i believe

 

thanks guys! yes, the softwares registration window did show the numbers, but the problem is it didnt call it "Machine Id" so that was a bit confusing. now its working. thanks again

Hey guys I have a question,Does different Software's provide different Machine ID's ?... or is it the same M-ID from the computer.If So,how do you find the Computers Machine ID in your computer if the Software docent provide one,a M-ID....

This ID is different from software to software from the stuff i have bought. Maybe 1 dev use for example motherboard + cpu, and other use motherboard + cpu + nic, other use totally other stuff.

I have never see two different dev have same machine id, but i am not genius. Maybe there is true Machine ID, but dev convert to they own #.

 

i think there are different "machine ids" for different purposes. some are the so called mac addresses, some are hardware, some can be find in the registry. BUT the one for Studio One is the numbers that show up when "register off-line" comes up. the only problem for me was it doesn't say "Machine Id", at least not when i did it.
But those are the numbers you need to copy and paste into the keygen nonetheless

 

Thx Man I spent a few hours one day searching-Goggling how to find ones Computers Machine ID with really no luck...

Do like this.
Start Studio one, it will ask you credential for the login. Use random credentials and try to login. After this "offline activation" or something like this will pop up. Click on it and it will show your ID for S1 registration.

Yes, plus devs will all use their own calculation to build a machineID. So even if they take the same parameters (e.g. cpu serial# + nic's MAC address). they won't get the same machineID.

 

DO NOT FILL IN THE 3 FIELDS YET! PATCH ONLY!

1.) Install Studio One 3
2.) Run the Keygen
3.) Click patch in the keygen and point to the "Studio One.exe" file

Machine ID (wrong name!!!) => Activation Key
(It is only needed to create license files to activate stuff like s1 soundsets + some plugins.)
