ok so why is this BS "no previous installation found" coming up again when I am trying to install Kontakt 7,

I had installed the Kontakt Factory library on a external HD, no brainier there, Mac m1s generally come with small drives.. so I like to ask those who run Ventura what the solution is or what the paths for the folders are..so I can install Kantakt 7.. (I think its why it won work)

You are trying to use an update version, instead of a full release. The factory library has nothing to do with it; you are using the incorrect installer.

It is a full version, with factory library and all, at least it says so
I read comments on NI Forums where users where advised to re install because they got this error after moving folders around, some where even told to use Native Access or terminal to re link folders, this is not the case?

 

if you know there is an existing bug, link it. I have seen many versions with the same error message, and it has always been it not having the original install done properly. now if you move things around after the original install, you should mention that also. you should use a simlink for your all important factory lib if you want it on an external. your k7 app and plugin need to be on the ssd.

never mind, I installed v7 trazr full, works
it turns out new folders such as those in USER DOCS/KONTAKT are created like a new app, you can see the older version of KONTAKT next to KONTAKT7 all while it replaced the audio plugs with the same name KONTAKT, I think they are coercion users to use Native access to solve the problem as a way of getting around people obtaining their software
