SOOOOO guys ,

I bought a mac pro 2010 2,4Ghz 8core with 256 SSD for 1800€ :dancing:
Ok I know it is really expensive but after thinking of Storage for all my plugins this is the best choice. What I am going to buy next are two 3TB HDD for all Plug ins and more important what screen should I buy. I saw the Apple Cinema Display but its toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Expensive as in eBay the same thing 755€ is it worth for that display
Or should I buy a Samsung 27 or acer 27 which will cost me between 150€-300€.
So any advice for that problem.

The Apple display is definitly too expensive.
You can have the same on another brand at 50% less or more.
Just buy what fits to your needs.

I actually have an hackintosh to produce music as well as a real mac.
I also have a lot of friends producing music with them.
Hackintosh runs just like a real mac ( with the same spec ) if properly built but an hackintosh with the same specs will cost the same or more than a real mac.
I built mine cause i didn't want to buy an iMac cause of it's lack of upgrade and couldn't afford a macpro ( and also cause i love tweaking )
My hackintosh cost me the same price the iMac was but i can upgrade it while it's not possible with the iMac.

Like i previously stated, that's what people always forget when they compare their hackintosh with a mac pro.
Mac pro are not consumer PC they have server motherboard, cpu & memory.
A pc with the same spec cost the same price :

So my next problem after I bought my 27inch screen, is the ram so what ram can I use in my mac pro 2010 8core. I found out that I can put 1066 MHz or 1333 MHz ddr3 but can I put every ram into it or only special apple ram.

The link you posted is NON ECC memory.

Mac pro should have ECC memory.

You can put any memory brand, no need to buy them from apple, but you have to make sure you use the same type of memory already used in your mac pro.

Just remove one memory from your mac you ll find the info on it.

i bought 24gb ram from ebay.
Now i am waiting for all the things that i ordered to get startet with my new mac and than with logic pro 9.
Lets see how 2013 with logic 9 or maybe X will work.
