I've looked at quite a few threads in trying to get Omnisphere to work. Can't get mine working on my Mac. I'm using Mojave 10.14.6, using Ableton and FL Studio.

I recently reinstalled my OS so I started from scratch, I had my original STEAM folder I've downloaded from the site. The main link. I couldn't find the Software installer so I tried downloading it from Audioz. I've downloaded various Software and Patch updaters but haven't had any success activating it using the2048 crack. Here's my process.

Step 1: Delete Application, Delete, AAX, AU, VST and VST3 plugins

Step 2: Install Software Updater. I'm trying 2.8.0c My Omnisphere is now telling me, I can't use a previous one, when I try to use a 2.6.0.

Step 3. Use Old 2048 crack to patch VST, VST3, AU, and AAX plugins

Step 4. Sudo codesign --deep (you know the code)

Step 5. Run Omnisphere standalone and copy the challenge code after the =

Step 6. Place code into new 2048 crack

and yeah it doesn't work. Doing it this way, my challenge code is just %10, which isn't a valid code. I've tried URLdeoder and it translates it to a strange character which still doesn't work.Idk what to do. I've also tried running Step 5 after Step 2 to see if I get a different challenge code that works, if I don't patch the VSTs, but it doesn't work. I do get another challenge code, this time much longer, but yeah, same invalid challenge code.

 

Did you install the full version before installing update?

 

I don't think I did. I had the steam folder from the full version on the website, but I couldn't find the install DVD's for steps 5-10. Is there a link on the sister site for the full versions without the big STEAM folder download?

Edit: I thought the updates on the site would suffice, since they just include updates on the full version.

 

I think it's the step 5 archive on the complete release.

Those updates are just like patches. You still need a full installation.

Okat that is interesting. I've looked for the full installation on the sister site and can't find any that included an installer. They all have a patch updates. Though on the original instructions it seems theres indeed an installer file.

STEP 5
Unzip Step 5 archive (do not change the folder hierarchy!) and double-click the .pkg installer file. You will need an admin password to install, as usual. DO NOT start Omnisphere yet.

Hmm I guess the question is where can I find this. I'll look for it.

 

Okay so I found an installer on the sister site. I installed 2.0. However I'm now getting a blank response code after patching and signing the plugins.

 

actually you need to install old good 2.0 installer, that one can be properly activated with challenge-response code,
only if it works, then you can go into updates

 

okay good to know, so that was the 2.0 version. I'm trying to figure out why the challenge code was blank

Also so to be clear: I found the 84GB Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2.6 Complete WIN\MAC. So this wouldn't work without the 2.0 Installer, correct?

That release includes a full installer.

 

Okay I'm back. I downloaded the entire Spectrasonics Omnisphere 2.6 Complete WIN\MAC 84 GB release. unzipped/unrared everything. Followed the directions to the tee. I'm still getting a blank challenge code. What can I do?

To save some Mac headaches. I'll re-post this text

1. Manually install the update first

2. Run Omnisphere, click on the blue 'click here' at the bottom of the Authorization screen - this will copy an Authorization url to the clipboard which contains the encoded Challenge Code

3.Go to https://www.urldecoder.org/ and paste that Authorization url into the topmost frame - delete the segment 'http://www.spectrasonics.net/authorization?prod=Omnisphere&vers=2.6.4c&ch='
and hit the <Decode> button

4. Run R2R's Keygen, paste the decoded Challenge Code and generate your Response Code

 

Have you uninstalled and cleaned up the previous mess?

I installed this update. Thanks for this! I notices it was already activated and didn't need an activation. I didn't use the updated, just installed everything manually. I guess now my main issue is installing Keyscape and Trillian. I already have them downloaded from the sister site. I think I might have to delete to activation information to get them to work. Thanks so much tho. Omnisphere is working.

I think I finally got it going but it was already activated which means there must be some activation information on my computer. I think I might have to find the activation information to delete it if I want to install Trillian and Keyscape. I've tried uninstalling Omnisphere many times. Deleted the Application, the vsts and au files, the aaxplugins. I've scoured my /Library and ~/Library but couldn't find anything more than a installation log. Is there something I'm missing?
