Win10Pro_2004.172_LitePlus_oprekin.com.iso. not a link. but there are quite a few small Windows ISO options out there. Most Windows users don't even strip down their own. And for the purposes of just using as VM image on a Mac, I do not think we need to explore the full functionality of them as "Windows Installations" like you would want to if actually installing them as your regular Operating System. The resulting Parallels VM (or .pvm) using that Oprekin version is 967 mb in file size.

Another I tried was W10_X-Lite_19045_3757_Micro10_SE_x64_FBConan iso. I think the differences in these many different options may be splitting hairs.

Get a refurb direct from apple online store. Can save a ton of $, and comes with same warranty and feels brand new. I'm rocking an M1 Pro, and it's a total beast. Can't even imagine what M2/M3 would be... that being said you can scoop up M1 Pro for pretty great prices now... and it's solid AF
