I agree with you 100% on this. Funny. I apologize, I thought you were trying to turn this in to a Mac vs PC thing. It seems like every time someone asks a Mac question here, it turns in to a PC debate.
    I deleted my post.

Im thinking of buying a cheap PC for stuff i really need and will use as need.. however, having a mac makes u more of a producer as posed to being a "cracked" head..

Many thanks to the mac contributors that show us love.. your efforts are always embraced with open arms and never taken for granted..

luckily we still got Serial protected stuff , where a keygen is sufficient to crack an app. it would be great to see Roland cloud and the legend, but then again there is stuff enough out there to make any music you want . so i guess its our collectors "addiction" that makes us to want more

I'd say it really comes down to what you seek for,
software manufacturers are in messy situation where future of both MacOS and Windows is VERY uncertain,
also there's actually very sparse amount of new really good plugins, instruments and audio software - excluding updates I can barely remember something new recently I'd see and say "I totally want/need this"...

I think for there to be releases like in the heyday, there would have to be people interested in the cracking challenge for starters, and willing to share in the face of the unfortunate percent of the most vocal constant complaining. I think mostly it would take a very capable cracker or crackers who love what they do and who don't let the few ruin it for the many that appreciate their work.

You're arguing ignorance from a position of uninformed opinion.
There are windows 10 versions discussed on this very site that are without bloat and enable updates to be turned off.
Performance on my machine has improved since I moved from W7. Now that's factual info.

You deleted your post, which is a bit lame, as mine is now out of context and doesn't show the reason for my reply. :dunno:
Grow up, kid. In real life people disagree. There's no need to take your ball home because you've been nutmegged.

Anyway, for those interested. There was no mac v pc flame war here. The deleted post said Win 10 sucked because of the auto updates.
My post above still stands. It's been a great update for me from W7. Totally happy with it's non suckability.
If you want to use mac, great. Want to use xp or 7, then that's good too. Just let's not spout ignorance from positions of uninformed opinion like impressive did.

It's not nasty, mate. Just putting out there what you saw fit to take out to suit your agenda. I'm old. I'll live with your teenage angst now the truth is out there. :guru:
Anyways, the Win 10 edition I'm running is still going great. No updates. Minimal suckage

being able to run MacOS (hackintosh) and Windows on exact same hardware configuration, I can say right away without any bias that MacOS is much less resource-heavy and way better thought-out system,
that's all and what is a major thing which matters is software compatibility with what we are used to work :))
