Since two days I'm facing a odd problem that I've try to fix in all possible ways I know.
So, I load Audiomodern Random Riff Generator and everything works smoothly as it should, but, when I close Ableton and open again, when I load the project and try to edit the M4L device, nothing happens.

I have latest M4L and Ableton installed with all the permission given.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I wan't sure if you meant edit the device with the Max Editor or just edit the pattern and change parameters. Either way, I just tried and am able to do both after reopening the project. I wonder if it's a problem with your .amxd file.
I can't attach it here but check your PM and see if the one I uploaded works any better.

Worst case scenario, just download and use a brand new copy?

 

So, this is what is happening.... Even after replaced the file you've send me, and a clean Ableton and M4L installation...
What is really annoying, is that it's only with this device.

And not just reopen the GUI


It takes a second for me but eventually Max 7 shows in the task and status bar and clicking those brings up the console to edit the device. I can also Alt-Tab to bring it up.



Forgive me if this is me just being dense, brother but if you're just trying to reopen the GUI you click where it says "Random Riff Generator PRO"

 

I know how to open and close devices in Ableton.... And, yes.. I want to open the GUI in Ableton...
And as I post in the picture in my previous post... Nothing happen.

 

PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!
Finally everything is running again without any issue.
Seems that after upgrading Ableton and M4L, the .amxd files for some reason only was opening with M4L.
All I did was pointing the .amxd files to open with Ableton, and now my problem is gone.
