Hello,

sometimes i working with vocals and then i often missing a feature which shows me the vocals as an "text track" or something like this.

Is there are DAW which offers such a feature?
Or do you have a workaround?
The only idea i have is to create an empty midi track and create a part for every part of the lyrics or for every word.
But first this would be a lot of work and wouldn't help that much as the vocal and lyric track would not be one track...
Ok (during creating this thread i have another idea) - I could also split the wav file..
advantage this would be just one track.. disadvantage would be more work..

Cubase has a small Notepad where i put my lyrics in

 

create a track, create parts, rename the parts with your songtext, place them to the right songposition
