32bits vsts aren´t supported by the new LPX...

What alternatives are there to load 32bits vsts in full functionality?

I´ve tried bidule in rewired mode but it doesn´t allow you to work automatization curves; you get the synth that´s all!
Or is it away for assigning the channels to the master app?

I heard about jbridge, maschine, mainstage+soundflowe etc.

    Have anyone tried alternatives?
What works and what doesn´t and in which degree?

On the Apple store maybe? :mates:

I think is good to estimate alternatives for the sake of it!

Even I'm not a Mac user and I love hating it..When I look in what category this thread has been started (DAW/Logic/LPX/) I would bet a million LPX stands for "Logic Pro X"

None. :bleh: .......Logic supports only AU.

Well, i guess that's what you meant. *yes*
As far as i know, there's currently no tool available.
Give the good old LP9 still a space on your hard drive too, if you like to continue to use your 32bit plugins. The two versions don't hurt each other. *no*

Yes, it's cheap and JBridge is a 32/64bit bridge........unfortunately only for VST. :(

I heard that JBridge can also be combined with fxpansion bridge from vst to au !

Yep, Alraun both versions reside now in the same hardrive!

Rolma, you mean, it's possible to bridge 32bit VST to 64bit first, and then convert it into a 64bit AU?
I am curious if that works. Please tell us, if you have success.

edit: i already own FXpansion Adapter and i have just downloaded JBridge Demo.

JBridge does not create a real 64bit VST. What it does is no conversion - it's bridging.
It just creates an alias-like kind of VST, which is a few kilobytes in size and can't be successfully
wrapped with FXpansion Adapter into AU.

It didn't work here in my experiment (i tried it with Warmverb 32bit)
When you heard that this should work - i couldn't figure out how. :dunno:
    Seems to be a rumor.

It´s getting a matter of science! :wow:
Engineering Science…I guess former Garage Band users might not experience such frustration!

There are now two topics on that subject. Here's a link to the link to an article (#12), in which another solution is described:

    http://audiosex.pro/index.php?/topic/8000-logic-pro-x-dropped-32-bit-support-here-is-a-solution-to-use-old-au-instruments-and-plug-ins/page__view__findpost__p__48633

As i said there already: what works well too, is
to host your 32 bit AU's in Mainstage 3 and route the audio signal to Logic X using Soundflower and the IAC Bus.

does anyone know if any of these solutions would pass automation parameters back to Logic, or if you just need to use Midi CC's etc?

    thanks

The best and most official solution is Vienna Ensemble Pro. I use it, its a keeper...but its not cheap.
