    Hi everyone!

    This is my first post here.
    I am a solo software developer under the name Low Wave Studios.
    I have worked in the music industry as an recording/mixing engineer for 9+ years, I own a recording studio and about 2 years ago I started my journey into audio programming.

    Last year, and after having done some audio plugins for my own use, I decided to offer my plugins for free to the community.

    The whole Low Wave Studios plugin philosophy is not about emulating some sought after vintage piece of equipment, for that there are a lot of other developers doing a much better job than I could.
    You might say that my plugins are more of a unique/utilitarian tool.

    Up to now I have made available two plugins from my drum series, but more are coming soon!:

    Drum Snapper - a transient shaper with some unique shaping and saturation features. Based on a differential envelope design, it allows extreme control over transients, with very fluid parameter interaction, especially between the Focus and Release knobs;

    Cymbal Killer - a two band gate/expander. As the name implies, it can kill cymbal bleed in an instance without losing stick attack and natural sustain.
    With a fast envelope high band you can let only the initial stick attack come through without cymbal bleed.
    Unlike conventional gates, with the low band, controlled independently, you can let the low end of the drum sustain freely without any choppiness;

    Both these plugins are available as 64-bit AU/VST3 for Mac and Windows. Not ready for Apple M1 yet.
    Feel free to report any bugs you may find and leave suggestions/requests down below.
    As I am a one man band I have only beta tested them on my machines.

    I do these in my spare time and if you enjoy them and have the means to help I would be very grateful if you buy me a coffee through my website :cheers:

    Just noticed that you have updated Cymbal Killer to 1.1.0.

    When you first released it, I used to have a bug which caused the track it was on to be muted whenever I opened up a saved project. I can't re-create the bug now though, and it was so long ago that I can't really remember the cause (I think it happened whenever lookahead was enabled, but not sure). It seems to be gone now however :thumbsup:

    Your transient shapers are really some of the best free ones out there! They are probably better than most paid ones :wink:
