I don't think its fits neatly into one genre. Yes it's cinematic in sound and concept but I was aiming for elements of musical theatre, jazz, ambient, EDM even....the aim was to do something in an old noir movie style but update it with more modern elements.

it is, free theatro-cinematic fusion, popular in march of the year 1974 -- by april of that year it was almost entirely underground until it had a brief contemporary re-emergence in the year 2023. [at least this is what the wikipedia entry will say ;/]

this is why people are always warned to keep a pair of night-vision goggles near by at all times. stay vigilant brothers and sisters.
