    Hello :)

When I use discord or parsec to share screen/app , it's difficult for my friends to hear the sound of the applications/web.
I noticed something when I check windows mixer.
Even if the sound is very loud in my ears , it shows weak activity about the peak meter (?)
The visual activity doesn't represent really what I hear.

For example, on the picture, the sound is loud in my headphone and in the youtube player its volume control is at max but it shows small activity (green bar)

I believe it can be the problem , do you know how it works ??
I use a headphone Logitech Pro X with its DAC with no volume control on the wire.

    thanks

Your headphones may be efficient (loud).
Getting an in-line volume control will allow you to turn up the mixer while keeping the headphone level as you like.

    Just a couple of guesses...

One, make sure that the apps you're using to screen share are actually transmitting the sound from whatever device your app/web is using (presumably your default sound device) and not doing something like transmitting what little bit your default microphone might pic up.

Failing that, is there maybe some surround sound or boosts or other effects on your headphones, or another application controlling volume?

I am guessing that the Logitech Pro X DAC has a good strong output.
I don't know if there is any software control of that.
If there IS some application for it, an adjustment could be made there...
Yeah- Searching, I found there IS software "GHub" and it says "CONTROL YOUR STREAM - BUILT IN OBS AND THIRD PARTY APP INTEGRATION".
So I think there may be a way via software.
