Another sad loss.

 

Oh no! Say it ain't so.

The last time I saw him was years ago when my Dad was still alive. I had heard he wasn't doing so well after the liver transplant but was really hoping he'd pull through. Mike is going to be so crushed by this news, they were good friends.

Spark of life - eternal spring​

 

Its weird, "walk on the wild side" is one of only 2 records i have ever heard that i can remember exactly where i was when i first heard it. I was in a mini, driving through the means streets of Cardiff when it came on the radio. I'd liked his stuff from the days of velvet underground but i loved transformer and have got the occasional record throughout the years that he made. The only album i still listen to is "New York", fucking brilliant

Not that anyones gonna be interested but the other record was "Sabre Dance" by Love Sculpture and i was in my parents kitchen listening to john Peel. He actually played it again near the end of the show because he liked it so much.

So many people from my time are going, its sad.

 

Of course we're going to be interested Willum.
