Hi guys, I have a Loopcloud subscription and the problem now is that this VST has to be connected to the internet to retrieve the samples. But now I have blocked Ableton Live in the firewall and therefore the Loopcloud VST does not connect to the internet. When I look in the firewall log, only Ableton appears that wants to connect to the Internet but not Loopcloud.

Is there anyway I can fix this?

 

You have a lot of routes to try, but I think I would leave Ableton blocked unless absolutely necessary. You are not only blocking Ableton, with the way you have it configured right now.

How much would it screw up your workflow, to use the standalone Loopcloud application version unblocked? You could have that copy go out and get the samples, and then you could load them into the plugin instance in your DAW.
