The site's completely dead. It was never actually cracked and I never got a chance to buy it. It just redirects you completely, so I don't think they're doing site upgrades or anything.

It's one of those things where you just activated it with a key to turn the demo into the full version, so it might just be abandoned, but shareable.

I tried to email the DEV, but the email isn't even active anymore.

 

No one knows the full story, but its known the developer Colin had some personal problems that kept getting in the way of development. In the end, it seems like those issues made him abandon all the projects completely

 

Yeah, that happens, it's hard sometimes with stuff like this. I almost get the impression a lot of poeple either didn't know that Architect existed or what it is. I think only a relatively small number of people would use it even though it seems pretty useful.

 

i am sure i saw it on the sister site when it came out, and if not, now would be the right moment. (though i couldnt care less since i basically built its predecessor 15 years before it got commercialized.)

 

Thought this was a prog rock band for a second! And then of course their cousins in metal, Doomer Architect. And cant forget the big band sound of Boomer Architect

 

Literally everything but Architect is keygened, that's I why I say it's almost like people didn't know what it was or something. Does the earlier thing you built exist in any regard? I'd be interested just to see. . . .

Yeah, it seemed like it was sticking around for a while. It's only the past month, maybe 2, when it just disappeared completely. But that happens sometimes, the Demo is fully functional, but does not allow saving or loading.

Maybe there's just a work around, i.e. the DAW can be made to do so or something. . .

Hopefully nothing bad happened to the DEV.

 

You could give it to someone from the sister site, they can post it, maybe one of the teams will crack it!

On one side, Loomer has been in the plugin business for a while. Have they quit the business completely?

On another, Architect was very cool and promising but a work in progress. I think if you donated they would send it to you? Somebody here made a post long ago.

The downloads page says the demos can be unlocked to full. What was not already finished in this beta version? Early betas can be anywhere from nearly useless to many users, all the way up to nearly finished products. So my question really is, if this beta was cracked; would it be useful enough to make that worthwhile? R2R released many of the others from the developer....

 

I’ve followed the development off and on, and it was moving slowly with frequent breaks. If it had been hacked back then, I think it would have completely killed the enthusiasm. The demo on the website is already a fully functional product, and he was even advised to release it as-is. But it’s quite old around two years, he said he’s changed a lot since then.
It would be great to contact him and ask to open-source the plugin so that his 10 years work doesn’t go to waste
