    Hi,
    looking into a new computer:
    • 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display
    • 3.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i5, Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz
    • 32GB 1867MHz DDR3 SDRAM - four 8GB
    • 512GB Flash Storage
    Sample library's:

    • EWQL Hollywood Orchestra Diamond (Shipped on external 1TB 7200rpm USB3 external hard drive). The samples take up 720.23gb of disk space on the hard drive.
    • EQWL Pianos (Shipped on external 1TB 7200rpm USB3 external hard drive). The samples take up 523.52gb of disk space on the hard drive.
    DAW:
    Logic pro x

Do you think the specs will run the samples smoothly? If not, what specs do you guys recommend?
As I stated, the samples are currently streaming of external Hard drives. Do you reckon they are fast enough?
I was wondering whether putting the samples onto faster (Thunderbolt 2) hard drives would be faster.

Thanks in advance for the advice, any help is appreciated.

You can have a pc with the same specifics (or even better...) for the half of the price
