If you can't find it, as you already have stated it was DMCAed. Even free stuff gets DMCAed.

 

I kinda expected that to happen but was on tiered Internet at the time, so didn't download. Ah well, still 10 pages worth of stems to explore...

I definitely could be wrong, but i don't think it got DMCA'd. If was the upload I think it was I requested a reupload and the files were no longer available, or something like that. It was marked as dead and I guess eventually removed.

Again I could be wrong and just be talking out my ass. This was a couple years ago.

Was it called something like Treasure Chest of Stems, or something like that?

Ahh.. I wondered if I should get some to help me understand more about how songs are made...or at least for entertainment.
I always find it fascinating watching videos of people soloing different parts and groups of songs I know.
I'm often surprised at how lame the individual parts sound by themselves yet are magical when mixed with the others!

 

I think many of them are pulled from the Guitar Hero game, so aren't quite studio stems, as such. Still, good for remixing and interesting to hear anyway.

Some of the real studio ones (eg Bohemian Rhapsody, some Nirvana) are gems. I didn't get them all but I have about 300 collected over the years from sister site and anywhere else I can find them. It's great to have Bowie or Kurt vocal tracks, for instance. And Liz Fraser (Massive's Teardrop), Michael Jackson (Beat it), Bob Marley, Jim Morrison, Creedence.......

I am also looking for that mega links that had Mogg stems. It was alphabet sorted and had "Lamb of God" and "Dream Theater". I am not sure where was it from!
