I have a laptop that's pretty powerful, being an Asus ROG Core i7 12 Core, 32GB RAM and 2TB NVME SSD system. I'd like to use it as my main device so I can use at home studio and when out and about.

However, I also have a desktop PC that's pretty powerful with a Core i7 Extreme 12 core CPU, 64GB RAM and various SSDs and HDDs.

Is there any way I can set up so that the desktop stores all my sample libraries, Play and Kontakt libraries, but that I can somehow dock my laptop onto and connect to it easily? I assume this will be easier at my home studio, and don't even know if possible to download/stream remotely?!

Anyway, just looking for advice so I can then maintain my laptop as my 'main' system and plug the desktop into it as and when I need the extra power/storage/libraries and so on.

Anyone got any ideas on setting anything like this up?
