The track is mainly purely out off stock ableton drummachine + Dolphin Bass VST and some distortion and effects. I was wondering do you guys think it's finished or would you change anything about it, what you think?

You have way too much reverb. That is the first thing I would change. Even if you want to build a very minimal track, you still usually want the elements to be crisp and worked individually. If you want a good amount of reverb still, start at with it at 0% and increase the Wet % until you can actually hear the reverb. Then dial it back a little bit at a time until it is closer to what you want. Putting it on a send can make it way easier to adjust. Shoot for making the reverb improve the elements, not becoming one itself.

Feedback depends on who you ask and how they view and understand art.

From what I hear, if all your artistic choices were totally intentional, I would assume you weren't aiming to create generic dance music.

In my opinion it's hard to give constructive feedback to a piece of art without knowing your intentions. It could have been better and it could have been worse. But according to whom and with what criteria? Art is subjective.

Without knowing the context in which you created the track, I guess nobody can truly help you, unless you are seeking for specific questions like what you could improve in terms of sound design, arrangement, production, composition, mix etc. But if these aren't the questions you were looking to fulfill, any criticism is useless.

My answer would not be what you are looking for, but to provide you with potentially more questions that only you can answer, thus providing you with powerful tools to think about your art, and have those tools available for the next time you create something.

    - What do you want to achieve?
    - In your opinion, does this track fulfill the goal you wanted to achieve?

Oy... I hate being critical, but it doesn't help anyone to blow smoke up their butts, so I'll rip the band-aid off... I didn't like the track.

I found it kind of an incoherent mish-mash of sounds. I also do agree with Clone, it's also too heavy on reverb.. but more importantly, to me it just seemed like a bunch of stuff going on, but nothing very interesting.

That's my take, sorry to be blunt. Like I said, I don't like to criticize people's hard work, but it just didn't hit at all for me. If was meant to be an abstract piece, it still just doesn't really have anything interesting going on that resonated with me at all.

Hey, I know the song is a bit too crowded with the different melodic parts. Reason is the acid line the song starts with is a sample I made. So I couldnt go back and change parameters there.

What I wanted to achieve is a song with good quality Mixing and mastering. if u listen to my older sounds they got big problems there.

Also I wanted to achieve a song people enjoyed listening to with the sounds made which sound good :) I personally like the song myself. All my songs Ive made in the past I dont think anyone ever listened to it, really. So a goal for me isnt anymore particular dance music but so more dance music peo0ple actual enjoy listening to and that could be anything with a chord and bassline and some drums to top it off :0

But I know the sounds could be better ofcourse but if u listen to older stuff of mine this should be better.

It definitely is. The squelchy acid bassline goes out of tune on the higher notes. When that part is solo'd @ 3:05, the delay you have on it is pitch modulated and it goes totally out of tune. I would fix that.

Some cool sounds and panning going on. The sounds are nice. Agree with too much reverb.

Keep at it, keep making tracks!

Yeah ur right thats also what im focusing on trying to make sounds which are in key. I didnt hear about the acid line in the beginning and yes I had ableton echo modulation on the 'bass'at 3:04. I'm gonna try and finnish the track but thanks for the advice that was the reason I was asking.
