Nice. I like the bass with the sort of pitch bend at the start of each note and the high lead towards the end. I was hearing jungle sounds and calling birds at the end (in my head, I think). It sounds clean and nicely recorded, but not sterile. Sounds good to me.

Thank you, I like it when people tell me things like that. Hearing how my music can bring something more out from someone's imagination than in the original record somehow enables me hear it too and let's the music grow. If music didn't have that quality about it, it would have been meaningless.

Very good! Can imagine female voice for vocals giving it that something, something.

Overall instrument selection is good. Was thinking maybe automating kick EQ to take up space before bass drops in.

Props for using Vanguard close to 2020's, such powerful Synth we've got there !!

Delightful melodies, thanks for sharing your art T3NR@

Thank you. I was thinking about adding female vox most of the time I spent on this but could not find a clip I really liked for it. As for the kick, do you mean using an expander?

Indeed it is. You are most welcome, and so would I whenever I get in the mood to finishing 20-something unfinished songs. :)

  13. Why not try to find a human to sing specifically for your song(s) rather than samples?

Since it is not a fulltime income job I need to prioritize my funds. I'm saving for a new audio interface as it is and hiring a vocalist in the middle of a bathroom renovation is a quick and sure-fire way to get hit in the head with a spatula by a pissed girfriend. Also I just don't want to work with someone that has no singing experience.

  15. I was thinking more along the line of perhaps someone that you might know.

And yes, flying spatula angst is a real concern in matters such as this. I renovated the bathroom in an ex-girlfiend's old farmhouse house so have real life experience in these matters. Either don't piss her off or learn to anticipate the throw and duck accordingly.

:winker: Sadly, I don't know anyone who could fill that role at this time.

Why do so many folks put up with flying spatula angst et al? You don't have to be in a relationship that compromises your life, you know.............? So many men, including myself, always seem to feel their best times were when they were 'single'.......and yet......and yet.....

I've been single for over a decade. No perpetual compromises, no rows, no PMT, no soaps on TV, nada. haha. Testicles compromise freewill - so cut them off! Hack your testicles off tonight and see how happy you will be!
