about the mix : imho in the start try to hi-pass/clean the pad a bit because it masks the kick,from 1 minute in, super nice & groovy,also the same for the arpeggiated pattern that kicks in, in the 2.17 ,other than that it is all good

Hey thanks dude! You are correct about the pad and arp, hadn't noticed that before. Going to mess around with it later and reup.

 

Nice work man - good groove, a bit loud - maybe a try a french cut ( a pretty steep bell from 3500 to 4500, 3-4dB or more) for comfort.

Experiment with it, can remove some of the pain and bit from a loud dance track sometimes and really helps people wearing headphones listen loud without getting beat up.

Thank you! The vocals were from someone on youtube reading poetry, can't recall who though. The poem is by Rumi, a Sufi poet, don't remember the name of the poem either right now.
