False : Patchwork can load any type of plug-ins
True : because you can tell it to look only for one vst folder [(vst or vst3) and (x86 or x64)] or[aax] or etc... dont remember all formats...
I use it as a vst x64 in ableton x64 and i set the vst folder( in patchwork) to x86.
That way it becomes a bridge !!!!

Darn, FORGET ALL THE ABOVE ' DOEST SEEMS TO BE TRUE AT ALL
But i can swear i read that somewhere, i'll keep you informed ...

Defenetly not "Control, Alt and Delete"
If you find the correct shortcut let me know

 

For mac, there is a nice free app called HostingAU, which can obviously load any AU plugins but also rec the output .

Control, Alt and Delete is a special shortcut reserved by the OS. It can't be it. Maybe you made a typo there. But I'll look into your suggestions mentioned above (Reaktor, Guit Rig, etc...) during the weekend.

It's not real. There is no shortcut in Kontakt. It was a lame and ironic statement made on my part to point out that Native Instruments' flagship sampling plugin has no record function. Sadly, that's all Photoshop.

 

I like the Guitar Rig tape deck solution. The "Post" deck is even better. I guess I will adopt it

About my previous comments About Patchwork :

Most of it it false but still a little true ...
Patchwork CANNOT be used as a bridge as jbridge.
Except in one case : If your DAW doest support VST3 than it will bridge it.

Example : Ableton doesnt support VST3 and I want to use Antares Auto-Tune.
1-Install Patchwork
2-Open DAW
3-Load Patchwork on a track
4-Load Auto-Tune in Patchwork
Voilà !
